The Princess 45, designed by Bernard Olesinki, is still a well-regarded & established model, &  ‘Stress 3’ is a fine example & solid proof that a vessel of this age still has a strong place on the used market today.  She has seriously stood the test of time & still offers exceptional service to her current owners.  Russell & Dawn have owned their Princess 45 berthed in Brighton Marina, for over 10 years & would agree that she has more than stood up-to her rock solid reputation & legendary sea keeping qualities on many occasions.  “When we stepped on-board for the first time we both instantly felt she was the right boat for us; following the sea-trial on a cold winters morning in what we discovered afterwards was a force 4; we knew she was a very capable vessel & perfect for our intended use”, explained Russell.   When the Princess 45 was introduced back in 1982 she was the largest production built vessel in the UK & for Marine Projects, as they were formally known by, their flagship vessel.  The popular internal lay-out at the time as with ‘Stress 3’, offers a master cabin forward with en-suite, double guest cabin to starboard & second day head, lower dinette ideal for eating or can be converted for additional sleeping.  Two further convertible settees in her large saloon will complete the facility to accommodate 9/10 adults on board in comfort.  By nature of this lay-out option, you will benefit from an enormous & well equipped galley lay-out with plenty of working area along with an abundance of storage lockers.   Even by today’s standards, she has a huge cockpit; she also benefits from the extended flybridge overhang which in turn allows for her unhindered vertical drop aft closing canopy.   She has a large cockpit hatch that allows access to her lazarette with fitted generator & an abundance of available storage space.  Finally, a flybridge capable of accommodating all your family & friends to rest together in comfort while enjoying those great days out on the water.  Russell & Dawn have kept their boat in Brighton Marina & have done an extensive amount of boating visiting places like Weymouth & Dartmouth,  “we fell in love with Lulworth Cove in Dorset”, said Russell, “and have returned there on many occasions”.   “Trips to Jersey & Guernsey & across the channel to Fecamp, we’ve experienced at first-hand what a force 6 & 7 are like & have come out each time unscathed.  Many a trip to the Island of Wight & Benbridge & every year without fail we have anchored off of Eastbourne marina watching the live air show”.  The time has now come for Russell & Dawn to entertain a new chapter in their boating plans & hence have their much loved boat on the market.  “It will be a sad day when our boat eventually sells, but we have new & exciting plans we wish to explore.  We are very confident that ‘Stress 3’ will serve her new owners as admirably as she has served us”.  ‘Stress 3’ is a 1987 model & fitted with twin Volvo TAMD71A shaftdrive diesel engines.  She is berthed at Brighton Marina afloat & available for viewing at any time.  For further details & to arrange a viewing, please call Paul at Brighton Boat Sales on 01273 840129, full details with video can be found HERE.
